CKIC TOP 40 OF 2011

It's that time of year again -- alternative rock and AAA stations are getting set to post their year end countdowns. There is a website called Rocklists that compiled these lists from 1980 to 2007. I thought I'd continue that work on my blog. I got a complete set of 2010 countdowns posted.

As usual the first to post their countdown is a college station CKIC in Winnepeg. As is usual for a college radio countdown the list is rather idiosyncratic. It is also very Canadian, and especially Manitoban (designated by the appellation "Mancon"
